Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services offered by Service ‘A’ Transportation (“SAT“, “sat.sg”, “Service A”) or (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”), a company incorporated under the laws of Singapore. These terms set forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of Our Services as contained in http://www.sat.sg (“Website“) (collectively with the site, referred to as “Services“). The term ‘you’ or ‘You’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
sat.sg is a website operated by Service ‘A’ Transportation We are registered in Singapore under the Business Registration Number 53256306M and with our registered office at 183D Boon Lay Avenue, #15-750, Boon Lay Grove, Singapore, 644183.
GENERAL TERMS
Any such purchasing terms and conditions shall apply only if We expressly confirm the same in writing. Acceptance of your delivered goods shall be deemed acknowledgement of our terms and conditions. We do not ship for you any combustible materials, items that contain poisonous fumes and any such items that is deemed dangerous and illegal in Singapore. You will be liable if you fail, neglect or refused to inform us on the nature and condition of your items for shipment.
USE OF INTERNET AS MEDIUM OF COMMUNICATION
You acknowledge that the internet is not a secure medium and information submitted for the Services hosted on Our Website may be accessed by third parties. We accepts no liability whatsoever in this circumstance.
DOCUMENTATION OF OUR SERVICES
Any form of documentation provided by Us must not be copied or made available to any third party or use for any other purpose other than the intended and agreed purpose as indicated in Our Website.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
We endeavour to adhere to stipulated delivery deadlines as indicated in Our Website. However, due to the hazards and peculiar features of Our Services, delivery deadlines will not be binding unless expressly agreed otherwise. Our contractual obligations are subject to a case to case basis based on your request and additional charges may incur.
LIMITATION
IMPRACTICAL OPERATIONS
Nothing in this terms and conditions shall require the mover to perform pick-up or delivery service at any location from or to which it is impracticable, through no fault or neglect of the mover to operate vehicles because of:
- The condition of roads, streets, driveways or alleys;
- Inadequate loading or unloading facilities; or
- Riots, Acts of God, the public enemy, the authority of law, strikes or labour unrest the existence of violence, or such possible disturbances as to create reasonable apprehension of danger to person or property.
TRANSPORT AND GOODS LIMITATION
There are a number of prohibitions for the use of Our services. The following cases are specifically prohibited:
- ABSOLUTELY NO CARRIAGE OF ANY PERSON in cargo compartment for any distance or reason ever.
- ABSOLUTELY NO CARRIAGE OF ANY ANIMAL in cargo compartment for any distance or reason ever.
- Items of extraordinary value or items that are irreplaceable should not be moved via Service ‘A’ Transportation.
- NO Hazardous Materials to be carried but is not limited to: explosives, gases, flammable liquids, flammable solids, poisonous or infectious substances, radioactive material, corrosives.
- NO firearms, ammunition or other explosive materials.
- NO illegal goods.
- Service ‘A’ Transportation does not hold out to transport jewellery, objects d’art, currency, documents items of unusual value or rare metals. Unless otherwise indicated herein or agreed to by contract.
Service ‘A’ Transportation shall not be required to accept for transportation any truckload shipment which exceeds gazetted by Land Transport Authority (LTA) and Singapore Traffic Police (TP) weight limit or which occupies more than the full visible capacity of the vehicle which is provided or size of vehicle that have been booked prior to pick up date even if the vehicle provided may be able to carry the excess load.
APPOINTMETNS/PICKUP AND DELIVERY TIMES
Pick-ups and deliveries shall be made between 0900hrs – 1800hrs local time unless special arrangement already been made and agreed upon for timing beyond previously mentioned time. Appointments shall be made at no charge. Pick up within the designated 3-hour window frame. Please be mindful the delivery restriction timing, as a buffer of 1-4 hours is necessary for the drop-off process (The delivery timing basically will be before 1800hrs). Service ‘A’ Transportation shall not be liable for late deliveries or unkept appointments due to circumstances beyond mover’s control such as but not limited to weather and traffic conditions, store loading and wait times, customer special requests, and other unexpected barriers to loading or unloading.
LIMITATIONS OF MOVER’S LIABILITY FOR PREMISE CLEARANCE
Service ‘A’ Transportation assumes no responsibility for insuring or otherwise providing for clearance of vehicle through or inspection by premise’s management. We are not responsible for the application for entry permit into pickup or delivery premise if the management rule and regulation require entry pass or permit to be applied beforehand. Service ‘A’ Transportation or party in possession shall not be liable for loss, damage, deterioration of the goods or delay in delivery due to the process for management clearance or inspection.
PICKUP AND DELIVERY SERVICE
The rates named herein include pickup or delivery at all points within the limits of the cities, towns, villages and other points from and to which rates apply, but each booking will include only pickup and one delivery unless special request are made and the additional charges is agreed upon.
WAITING TIME
Service ‘A’ Transportation shall allow 15 (fifteen) minutes of waiting time both for loading and unloading to be completed. Such time shall commence from the time the mover arrived or from the time the mover was requested to wait for loading or unloading to start, whichever is later. The waiting penalty if more than 30 minutes block $30 incurred by customer.
APPLICATION OF ACCESSORIAL CHARGES
In addition to the base rate and additional services requested for any booking and unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following accessorial charges shall apply and shall be reflected on the amended booking details and receipt shall the customer request for one.
USER ACCOUNT
In order for you to use the Services, you are able to register for a personal account with Us. During Account registration, you are obligated to provide your personal information, such as your name, contact information directly or indirectly in accordance with Service ‘A’ Transportation’s Privacy Policy.
Once the Account registration is successfully completed with Service ‘A’ Transportation, you will be provided with an Account, accessible with a password of your choice.
Where applicable, any and all fees receivable or payable under completed orders may be settled via deducting a corresponding point credit (“ Credit(s)”) from your virtual wallet account (“Account”). Where applicable, the manner and the scale of deduction of Credits and relevant administrative fees (if any) will be posted on our system and will become effective immediately upon disclosure to you. Your continued access or use of the system after such notice constitutes your consent to be bound by the scale of deduction of Credits and administrative fees (if any), as amended at our sole discretion from time to time. You may purchase, top-up, or redeem Credits by any means as instructed by us from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, the Credits are non-transferable and their sole and exclusive purpose is for request for services provided by Participating Provider, any money used to purchase Credits is not refundable in any event; and unless expressly forbidden by Relevant Laws, the Credits are subject to expiration of the time period as posted on our system from the date of purchase, top-up, or redeem.
The value of 1 point is equivalent to $1 SGD.
We will only accept pre-payments for topping up of credit. Top up payment method via Direct Bank Transfer or payment gateway. You are eligible for a 5% Bonus with every top up with minimum $200. Upon topping up, the credit will be automatically be added to your wallet balance within 24 hours. For example, you will receive 210 credits in your wallet balance if you top up $200.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING OF BOOKING
Any cancellation or rescheduling shall be made BEFORE twenty-four (24) hours of scheduled pick-up date by informing Service ‘A’ Transportation. Customer Service by call, email, or WhatsApp. You will get the refunded amount into your own Wallet Payment account for any cancellation order. Our services are non-refundable via online banking transfer or cash deposit.
No refunds will be given if a service is booked and then cancelled or rescheduled within twenty-four (24) hours of scheduled pick-up date. Rescheduling is only permitted once per transaction.
Cancellation fee may also be applicable but not limited to the following circumstances:
If We already arrived discovers, through communication with the customer, that the customer’s items are not eligible for the Services due to not limited to, items under the “TRANSPORT AND GOODS LIMITATIONS” list and/or incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer that make the moving process unable to proceed.
PRICE & PAYMENT
The price of any service will be as quoted on Our site, except in cases of obvious error. Our site contains a large number of services and it is always possible that, despite Our best efforts, some of the services listed on Our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of Our dispatch procedures so that, where a service’s correct price is less than our stated price, We will charge the lower amount when rendering the service to you. If a service’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site we might at our discretion decide to honor the lower (incorrect) price or either contact you for instructions before rendering the service, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to render the service to you at the incorrect (lower) price even after We have provided you with an email confirmation or invoice.
ADDITIONAL LICENSE, PERMITS AND DEPOSIT FEES
Whenever any additional license or permits are required, such as but not limited to, warehouse entrance pass, foreign commerce, customs fee and premise’s management deposit fee, the charge shall be arranged and provided by the customer and not Us. If and/or when Our movers are refused entry due to improper documentation, the fee of Fifty Percent (50%) of the moving cost will be assessed accordingly. Additional fees for driver detention, and/or storage will also be applicable.
LONG PUSH
Service ‘A’ Transportation reserves the right to charge a fee for a ‘long push’ service. A base fare will be charged when movers load and unload your belongings from a minimum distance of 50 meters away from the unloading area to the building entrance or loading bay. There will be an additional charge from $60 for 1-5 and above items and $150 for full load lorry.
STAIRCASE CARRY
Reserves the right to charge a fee for ‘staircase carry’ service, a base fare will be charged when movers require to load and unload your belongings using stairs. This applies to a building that an elevator or service lift is not accessible for moving. There will be an additional fee $15 per level per item for the movers to carry anything up or down staircase. This charges can be paid to Our movers on the delivery day. We will refuse to staircase carry if the item is deemed too heavy to lift up via staircase and Our maximum staircase carry is only 3 levels up or down.
LIFT PADDINGS CHARGES
There would be an additional $30 charge to install and remove lift padding at any location. Lift padding will not be provided by Us and has to be provided by the condominium management. We will not cover any fees in renting or purchasing the lift padding from the condominium management.
BEFORE/AFTER OPERATION HOURS BOOKING
Our operation hours from 0900-1800 (Mondays to Saturdays) and before 0900 and after 1800 (before/after operation hours delivery) or requested delivery on Sundays will be subjected to an additional charge of 30% from the total price. In addition, detention as otherwise provided herein shall apply between the time of arrival and loading or unloading and/or the time of subsequent dispatch.
RECONSIGNMENT OR DIVERSION
A request for diversion of transport will be subject to the following definitions, conditions and charges:
- Request for diversion must be informed to Service ‘A’ Transportation Customer Service department in writing (email or chat) or phone call.
- Diversion prior to movement of a shipment shall bear the rate that would otherwise have applied if the shipment was originally scheduled for movement to the final destination.
- Diversion en route shall be determined on the basis of the distance from origin to final destination via diversion point.
- If the transport is returned to the origin point, the rate to be applied will be the applicable rate to the most distant point actually travelled in addition to the mileage rate from same back to point of origin.
DAMAGES AND CLAIMS
Claims for damages must be made in writing via email to feedback@sat.sg within 24hours of the completion of your move, Service ‘A’ Transportation shall have no liability whatsoever.
- Please send an email to feedback@sat.sg provide detailed information about the damaged items, including photographs if possible, Our support team will correspond you within 2-3 days.
- We may require documentation such as proof of purchase and any relevant receipts or invoices. Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in a delay or denial of your claim.
- We are not liable for damages caused by factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of God, customer refused for shrink wrapping or improper packing by the customer.
- Service ‘A’ Transportation reserves the right to exclude certain items from coverage under this policy, such as fragile or high-value items that were not properly disclosed or packed.
- We are not be liable if there is any damages or scratches if you bought item online and you are not in the pick up location upon delivery.
- In the event of damages, Our maximum liability is limited to the lesser of the repair cost, replacement cost, or the declared value of the damaged items as stipulated in the contract.
- In the case of damage to the delivery item, the amount of compensation by Service ‘A’ Transportation shall be based on Service ’A’ Transportation’s assessment of the extent of the damage to the delivery item provided that the amount of compensation shall not exceed Service ‘A’ Transportation’s compensation limits.
PASSING OF RISK
When the your goods are transported or moved for the purpose of transportation, any risk (including accidental loss, destruction or deterioration) (“Risk“) shall pass to you as soon as we have delivered the goods to the assigned mover. As part of Our value-added Services, We will assist in ensuring the highest level of care is administered while handling and transporting your goods but we cannot accept any liability arising therefrom.
INDEMNITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You undertake the Services at your own risk and agrees to indemnify Service ‘A’ Transportation and its employees against all costs, losses, damages, expenses and liabilities (including for loss of reputation and goodwill and professional advisors fees) and any claim arising from your own actions in any way in connection with the Services, or a breach of your obligations as set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
We are not liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the Services. This limitation does not exclude any liability for negligence by Us or death or personal injury arising out of such negligence.
LOSS OF GOODS
We are not responsible for any missing items after our movers have left in your premises. You are responsible to inspect and ensure that all of your belongings are accounted for prior to the mover’s departure from the premise.
SEVERABILITY
The invalidity, illegality, or unenforcebility of the whole or part of these Terms and Conditions do not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between the parties relating to the Services (unless otherwise expressly confirmed in writing by Service ‘A’ Transportation) and supersede all prior representations, agreements, negotiations or understandings (whether oral or in writing). Except as specifically set out herein, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are excluded. For the avoidance of doubt, no information of any nature about the Services or any of these Terms and Conditions should be relied upon unless confirmed in writing by Service ‘A’ Transportation.
NO WAIVER
The failure to exercise or delay in exercising a right or remedy provided hereunder or by law does not constitute a waiver of the right or remedy or waiver of other rights or remedies.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singaporean law and the parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singaporean courts.
SPECIAL TERMS
These Terms and Conditions are not intended to nor shall create any rights, entitlements, claims or benefits enforceable by any person that is not a party to them. No person shall derive any benefit or have any right, entitlement or claim in relation to this Terms and Conditions.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time and any changes may be made without notice to you. We recommend you to read this Terms and Conditions periodically.
By continuing to access or use Our Services after those revisions or changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms and Conditions, please stop using the Website and/or Our Services.

- Membership is free and requires registration through our website or designated channels.
3. Redemption of Points:

Delivery fee $150 and above only can be applied. - Redemption options and associated point values may vary and are subject to change at the discretion of Service ‘A’ Transportation.

4. Point Exclusions:
- Points cannot be earned or redeemed for certain orders or other excluded items as determined by Service ‘A’ Transportation.

8. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
